Help Me Connect

Minnesota Help Me Connect is an online navigator that helps expectant families, families with young children birth to 8 years of age, and professionals working with families to services in their local communities that support healthy child development and family well-being. This resource includes a database of over 13,000 programs/services offered across the state that can be sorted closest to a home address and filtered by featured characteristics. Users can explore the twelve categories to learn more about different programs that are available and/or use the key word search function.

·         Watch and share our one-minute video (additional languages are available under the About Section).

·         Professionals can order bilingual rack cards (English/Spanish) to share with families: helpmeconnect@state.mn.us.

·         Training videos are available under the Help Section.

·         Additional materials and videos are available to download under the About Section.

·         Since its launch in May 2021, Help Me Connect has welcomed over 260,000 unique visitors from all regions of Minnesota and neighboring states. Top key word searches are autism, housing, diapers, transportation, mental health, ECFE, and family home visiting.

·         Help Me Connect is an interagency effort of the Minnesota Departments of Education, Health, and Human Services, and the Governor’s Children’s Cabinet. The site was built based on recommendations from local professionals and families and continues to be improved using user feedback and analytics. All suggestions are welcome!
